Oh Mariiiiiie Darling!

Here! Have some Aristocats fan art. It's not my usual style but I wanted to try and use the Aristocat style. Bad anatomy on my part. But check out Duchess, okay? She's a bit flabby :/. Oh and she appears gray because I was using a picture of her mother as reference and int he screen caps her coat was a silvery gray rather than full on snow-white. This is what I think Marie would look like as a young adult. She's not fully grown so she hasn't her mother's full on fluffiness yet. I imagine she'd be a graceful cat like her mother but with some kitten-mischief still going on. I picture her to be a daddy's girl and loyal to her two rambunctious brothers. Oh and about her collar. I remember in the movie how she was talking about her asking O'Malley if her eyes were like saphires too. Thus why instead of regular diamonds in her collar like Duchess's i'd imagine she'd want blue diamonds instead. And she looks better with a silver collar instead of gold.

I will probably draw Toulouse and Berlios as well because I want to draw Toulouse as a spatting tom cat and Berlios as a fluffiness. I think that's right. Toulouse is the orange one right? Hmmmm.

I actually wanted to draw Simba but couldn't find his pictures in my folder. Instead I found a group shot of the Aristo-kittens so I thought i'd draw Marie. I swear I used to sing to the soundtrack whenever the movie came on. But I kind of know all the songs of most of the old disney movies (Aladdin, Hercules, Aristocats, Lionking I, Lionking II, Beauty and The Beast, etc.). Now I want to go look up the Aristocat songs again D: . This is what I get myself into when I relive my childhood.

Anyways. Took about an two hours in paint tool sai. I tried cell shading this time instead of the soft shading you're used to.
